About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer who thrives on writing clean, efficient code and finding simple solutions for challenging problems. In this role, you'll spend the majority of your time in the codebase, rapidly building real-world solutions across multiple projects, business domains, and technologies..

You’re someone who enjoys working as part of the team, loves being deep in code, and knows how to ship fast without compromising quality. You also have a keen interest in leveraging AI tools to boost productivity, but you use them wisely, always aiming for a deep understanding of the code you write and ship.

At a venture studio, you will work on a wide variety of projects at the forefront of new technologies, especially AI. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, design novel solutions, influence the future direction and prospects of our clients' own products and businesses and throw your particular expertise into the ring to help out in our many other projects.


This is not a coordination or managerial role. It’s an execution-focused, code-first position for a developer who wants to build meaningful software daily.

 

What you'll do

  • Hands-On Coding & Solution Building

    • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with Python/Node.js, TypeScript/React, and SQL-based databases.
    • Rapidly build and ship features—from initial prototype to production—across multiple projects.
    • Work on challenging problems across the stack, including data modeling, architecture/design and mobile/web UI.
    • Write and consume APIs, integrate third-party services, and handle edge cases gracefully.
    • Maintain a strong focus on code clarity, maintainability, and performance.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure

    • Deploy and monitor cloud-based applications (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
    • Own your deployments end-to-end, from local dev to CI/CD to production.
    • Build infrastructure that supports fast iteration and high reliability.

  • AI-Enhanced Development

    • Leverage AI tools to boost speed and reduce boilerplate.
    • Maintain critical thinking and deep comprehension of all code—AI should help you go faster, not think less.
    • Explore ways AI can streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, or enhance testing and documentation.

  • Multi-Project, Agile Work

    • Work across several projects, jumping into new domains and codebases with confidence.
    • Deliver real value fast—this role favors action over perfection.
    • Collaborate with product and design to transform ideas into working software.

  • Collaboration & Best Practices

    • Participate in code reviews, share technical insights, and help raise the team’s engineering bar.
    • Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape development processes.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
  • Strong skills in both front-end and back-end development in at least one common tech stack. React / React Native, TypeScript Node.js, Python, Golang, etc.
  • Client-facing skills: ability to learn a client's domain and understand their users and needs; and ability to communicate designs, ideas and issues to client stakeholders.
  • Understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and data modelling.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
  • Interest in AI tools and automation, with a disciplined approach to ensuring code quality and comprehension.
  • Curiosity, autonomy, and a problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with containerization (Docker).
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure-as-code.
  • Exposure to AI/ML systems, vector databases, or LLM tooling.
  • Contributions to open source or personal side projects.
